Contract negotiation is a crucial service that we at PMC have a proven track record in. The rules currently governing the NBA and FIBA (global market) are constantly evolving. Currently, NBA by-laws dictate that incoming first round draft picks are slotted into salary positions dependant upon where they are drafted. These salaries are guaranteed for the first three years of a player's career. The contract figure can be negotiated up or down 20% from the initially slotted figure.

These rules increase the importance of improving and maximizing one's status prior to the NBA draft. At PMC, we develop an individually tailored draft preparation strategy for each client in order to ensure our athletes are in the best position possible heading into the draft.
