Primoz signed on with Pinnacle in 1999. Primoz was recognized by the NBA as the 4th most improved player in the league for the 2004-2005 season. He is an excellent shooter who has added bulk to bang inside. Primoz has dramatically improved his rebounding skills and his defensive prowess. Primoz was selected in the first round (27th overall) by the Pacers in the 2000 NBA draft. Prior to playing in the NBA, Brezec played for European power Union Olimpia in Slovenia. During the 2000-2001 season, Brezec led the entire Euroleague with a gaudy 78% FG%. Primoz is also a starting center on the Slovenian National Team. In August of 2009, Primoz signed with the Philadelphia 76ers
