Scoonie signed with Pinnacle in 2000 following his senior year at Ohio State University. He was selected in the second round of the 2000 NBA draft by the Atlanta Hawks. Scoonie has proven to be one of the greatest leaders in the annals of college basketball. In the 1998-1999 season, he helped spark the largest turnaround in the history of college basketball by leading the last place Buckeyes into the Final Four during his first year with the program. He capped his college career by taking the Buckeyes to a Big Ten regular season crown during his senior year. Scoonie has since become one of the top playmakers in Europe. He is currently playing for Efes-Pilsen in Turkey.
